About

From Bunsen Burner to Burning Man

I am a lifelong Colorado mountain kid, living in a small town in the foothills near Boulder. I am currently 25 years old and have supported myself for the last 7 years as a self employed artist.

I have been working in glass for over 10 years. The first time I ever worked a piece of glass was actually in a science class at the age of 15. We were assigned to bend a small piece of glass tube over a Bunsen burner. After that I fell in love with the medium and started to do it on my own. I am completely self taught, giving me a outsider's perspective creatively in the medium of glass.

I joined the etsy community when I first began to work in glass, and it supported me wonderfully. I left to focus on the emerging art of pipe design. I have been selling innovative and beautiful products for the smoking accessories market for the last 6 years, to support myself and my endeavors in the arts.

I have studied with the world renown master of marbles, John Kobuki, as well as master glass sculptors "Banjo" and Mike Fro, and the Grandmaster Robert Micklesen. I am ready to hit the etsy scene with a genuine promise of quality and artistry.

I hold all of the pieces to my high personal standards and each buyer is guaranteed to receive a unique work of art.

I recently had the honor of collaborating on a major sculpture installation with my friend and fellow artist Emma Hardy. This work is currently showing at Shelburne contemporary art museum in the Kalkin house, check it out if you are in the area.

Update: Emma and I have collaborated again on a 12ft tall statue of Shiva Nataraja, it was exhibited at the Transfoamation camp at Burning man 2017, and Catharsis on the Washington Mall.

Update: Another collaboration with my hero and teacher Emma hardy. we have created a 4 ft tall anatomical model of a heart and veins made from paper and glass. It will be exhibited at the Pink Progression show in Denver from March-July 2018.
